Fenwick Elliott, the UK’s largest specialist construction law firm, has appointed Emily Blanshard as Senior Associate, and Sonia Ginders and Giuseppe Franco as Associates.
Emily Blanshard [1] joins from Herbert Smith Freehills, having worked in their London and Hong Kong offices. She specialises in dispute resolution in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors. Emily has acted and advised on international disputes in numerous jurisdictions, in addition to working regularly with owners and contractors on standard form construction contracts, bespoke contracts and PFI arrangements.
Sonia Ginders [2] is a New Zealand qualified solicitor, having joined from HFW. Her experience spans both the UK and New Zealand, and includes representing clients in mediation, arbitration, adjudication and court proceedings as well as advising contractors, subcontractors, government agencies and employers on non-contentious matters.
Giuseppe Franco [3] is an Italian qualified lawyer with experience in international arbitration and litigation before the Italian courts. He recently completed the MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College and previously worked at an international law firm in Milan, where he advised clients operating in the commercial, construction, energy and insurance sectors.
