Fenwick Elliott became involved in the project from the outset providing legal support to our client during the tender and contract negotiation stage.

During the project execution phase, we have provided project support and strategic and claims advice as and when required, including advising on scope change issues and entitlements to additional time and money under the project EPC Contract.

Solutions

Fenwick Elliott was able to provide practical and commercially realistic advice at the outset of the project on the key terms of the EPC Contract. We also prepared a legal risk assessment report and provided our client training for project and contract personnel on managing key legal and contractual risks.

During the project execution phase, Fenwick Elliott has provided advice on key contract terms, assisted with the preparation of time and cost claims and advised on record keeping with a view to assisting our client to position itself strongly for final account negotiations.
